"As this generation's students go on transitional phase from face to face classes to online classes, was looking for an affordable school that can still offer holistic education for my daughter. Thankfully, I learned about JCCA through the referral of my colleague at work. I know that JCCA is based in Las Pinas, which is a long way from our home in Mandaluyong, but I decided that I will not let the distance hinder me from providing the kind of education I want for my daughter. Seeing that we are in an online set up anyway, the distance did not bother me all that much. The school administration and all the teachers are all so supportive and patient, which I think was very important for my daughter's growth and learning as she had mentors that she knew she can approach at any moment. "The transition from school to school is hard for my daughter and it made it really hard for both us to adjust from traditional classes to online classes. Luckily, we had enough support and enough help coming from her teachers. Their patience was really tested from teaching online, to date of submissions. We were able to pick up the pacing on how to manage our time and submissions for the school works. Online classes also gave us the chance to prevent also from acquiring any illness or virus during the pandemic as my child do not need to go to school. Thank you for all your help."

"It was our first time with JCCA last school year and I was happy with my decision to shift from homeschooling to regular online class due to personal reasons. It was easier and less stressing to parents who have a lot of things to take care of. Bec the students were guided well and the activities were made easier so we can cope up with the new normal and challenges brought by the situation. I also liked that mapeh is already incorporated in the activities done with the main subjects. My child became independent and has learned to navigate the laptop. He had learned how to use it during online classes and apply it to their daily activities. Since JCCA is a christian school its nice that we are always reminded of the good values that we should always practice. "This is a stressful, unpredictable time for everyone, including families, parents and children. I think for us parents, adjustment to this online learning system is different and our biggest challenge was teaching our kids how to use the laptop. Especially for our first grader, we tried to show him the basics without making it too overwhelming for him. A week into the start of classes, they have been taught how to mute their mic, how to turn the camera on and off and even to click links for their activities. However, the difficult part of this new way of learning is having to remind them to pay attention, that teacher can see them, that even if they are at home they still have to be presentable. Inspite of this, it is amazing to see how kids cope with online learning so quickly and kudos to amazing teachers for the immense support this year. We are very grateful for the teachers of JCCA for being so patient not only to their students but to us parents as well."

"During this pandemic I was one of those parents who begged off from the face-to face method. Knowing that there will really be setbacks on my part as a parent, I believe that it is the safest way for my child to keep on with the coming school year. Adjustments were made from being orientated with the platforms to having one one sessions with the children before the classes started. Truth to be said that there is no perfect online method nowadays as children really need to mingle with each other, my son's teachers did all they could from being super understanding to being really good counselors to make the children feel that they're just a keyboard away. The teachers always make sure that the students submit their turn ins by communicating with the parents, and that made things easier for us. I salute the hardworking and dedicated teachers of JCCA! "As a former teacher in JCCA, I myself learned so much in this institution. It served as a training ground for me as a teacher not only to teach academic subjects but to teach holistically. To teach by heart, to touch every children's lives entrusted to us, to be role for them. There are so much things that I learned with JCCA. It also help to mold, lead and guide me where I am today. So when my children started their schooling, I didn' t have any second thought, I enrolled them to JCCA knowing and believing that the training I had will be the same for them. Not only during the face to face learning but also during this new normal, having their online classes, the passion, dedication, effort and hard work of the teachers, it surpasses our expectation. Quality online education were given to our children. The current situation has clearly affected the teaching and learning, learners cannot avoid but they are affected. Coping with the adjustment in transitioning to the online learning was not easy for our children. It takes few weeks and months for them to adapt to the new system. But with the way JCCA delivered its online classes, adjustment was not difficult for my children, classes were very interactive, though its only virtual/online. Activities and performance task were given in order for them to have a life learning skills that help developed their attitudes and values. Teachers were very accommodating too, especially during the times that our children needed some clarification and answer to their questions. This new normal learning brought about many things in our lives including the education of our children. Though my husband and I were both working parents, online learning with JCCA is both challenging and fun. Challenging in a way that we as parent, need to be a teacher and parent to our children. Despite our busy schedule, we made sure that we will still have time to ou children in order to supervise and guide them in their studies. Fun, because it also serve as our bonding moment to our children especially in assisting and doing their performance task. We became as their cameraman, videographer and personal assistant during their performances or even a gym instructor while executing their PE activities. Over all JCCA is the school needed for today' s generation especially when spiritual and bible lesson were not given to learners form other institution."
